A scrumptious family classic

Ingredients

Group I

  • 2 sticks butter or margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs or 1/2 cup Egg Beaters
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla

Group II

  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

  1. Combine GROUP 1 in a bowl
  2. Combine GROUP 2 in another bowl
  3. Add GROUP 2 to the first bowl
  4. Add 1 bag chocolate chips
  5. Mix together by hand
  6. Place tablespoon-sized servings on baking sheets covered with parchment paper
  7. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
  8. Serve!
